'DIALOG' with the computer

I was a labourer in the Project Workspace,
An ardent devotee of the MFC's,
My fingers making a tap-dance on the keyboard,
The dark letters of my first project impinging the pristine screen;

What i am about to say ,
Is my first foray,
Into the world of application based programming,
An attempt by my humble self
To purge myself out of virtual nonentity!

I crammed hard and taxed my brain,
Never did i allow myself to feel fatigue or strain;
Not once did i bother about my shortcomings,
Hoping that the scenario would be better the next morning!

Compliments abt my abilities were nevertheless few,
But fueling my spirit,it did make my belief stronger again,
Alas ,today i need to tell my project manager
I have fared much less than the perfection i hoped to gain!!!

Will i fret or will i fume??
Will i be shrouded in a pall of gloom???
'Try and try again' ,the saying goes thus,
Without a doubt , i will master VC++!!
